a brief description of my post-grad life and continuum of the voyage

So, this description below will answer you where the Kai monster has been if you ever wondered and eventually stopped by here, my little secret wondrland that I haven't been posting for some reasons...

(Light Spot movie theater @ Taipei)

Ever since graduated last June,
I flew back home and stayed around wondering what the meaning of life is in terms of what I want to be doing on my career path for a while. Meanwhile, I just chilled around but also met some inspiring friends who enlightened me to think in different directions, which I appreciated them for.

(My dear high school girls)

(Chu Ming Sculpture Museum with family @ YeLiu)

(Pixar Animation Exhibition @ Taipei)

(Lomo gallary @ Frog's Cafe, Taipei)

Short after, I spent time preparing for 2 certificate exams for about 4 months. As a result, I got the Int'l Logistics certificate from the Chartered Institue of Logisitcs and Transportation, UK last year, meaning I am now a qualified supervisory manager in SCM field. But, at the same time, I failed my Japanese Proficiency Level II Exam that I tried to study my brain out for.....

(Parteyyyy :) Lil' escape from studying hard)

(Cousin's Wedding)

(Eslite Bookstore's series promotion of LP sales and history)

(2009 Golden Horse Movie Award hosted @ Ximen's individual theaters, Taipei)

The most unfortunate thing was that I got a serious pinple outbreak (that's getting better now) due to the high stress and rapid move back while re-adapting to the nasty weather/water/air pollution (whatever it is...) back home (not that LU was any better, really...). Rumor has it that the same thing happens to some people when changing environments suddenly, too. Though I don't really want to talk about it :( , I still decided to write it down here not becoz I need any sympathy but I think that I shouldn't need to be hiding anything from my real friends who understands.

(My friend intended to buy this cute couple of cacti for me)

During last year, I traveled to Japan back-packing styled with my family twice for some lil' escape and relaxation in our greatest habit-taking hot spring bath-in order to recharge my energy and release some stess. They were really awesome experiences which I'll have another post on later.

(Riding the Odoriko to Izu peninsula)

(Scenary from one of the famous hot spring hotels, Izu, Japan)

(Simulated Japanese Zen garden with sand stone @ Shu Zen Ji, Izu)

And, I had a bad broke up with my ex for how it ended but I won't describe it in detail here unless you are curious enough to ask me in person, or maybe you've heard from people or rumors. No matter what, I still appreciate all the good old days we've had. .

Another misfortune was to lose my dear grandpa this May, but he's always in my family's heart forever. Then my nephew, Johan, was borned in May. The God always open another window for us after he shot the door, doesn't he? :)

(Dear Grandpa on a family trip to Yilan, Taiwan)

(Lil' monkey Johan just born. he's more Asian looking than Caucasian)

(My Brother-in-Law's most favorite pic so far....which I love, too!!)

Last but not least, I attended the World's Affair 10 days right after its grand opening, which was awesome!!!(and will be back in August again) The local friends gave our family a night tour of ShangHai city and took us to one of the best restaurants located on the Huang-Pu Eastern river bank for the world famous night view. The re-visit eased my poor impression, as a child, of this extremely lavish city with some unamicable urban atmosphere away, which was good, I guess.

(Nan-Pu Bridge @ ShangHai)

(The most famous night view alongside Huang-Pu Eastern river bank @ ShangHai)

(It was chilly out but we were so excited to be a part of this view!!)

(Yes, you know what this is.)

(The Little Mermaid @ Denmark Pavilion)

( The face wall @ front entry of the united African Pavilioin)

(Preview of the soccer ball outside South Africa Pavilion, specially designed for 2010 FIFA, Made in Taiwan BTW!)

(Canada Pavilion with probably one of the most innovative content displays amongst all)

(The ridiculously line around outer Russia Pavilion, and all others applied, actually.)

(Spanish pavilion composed of weaven basket pieces and the theme restaurant hosted by Michelin Chef, Pedro Subijana. )

(France Pavilion as a delicate engraved boutique box. )

(UK Pavilion symboled as a sun flower seed.)

Since March, I have been working for my parents in China mostly in DongGuan (ShenZheng) and sometimes flying to KunShan (suburban ShangHai), as an assistant PM on a gigantic IT project. And, I am passionate about what I am doing everyday. That's pretty much it....

So, when you come to Asia visiting the World's Affair this year, stop by and say hi :) xoxox.

Yours Sincerely,
Kai monster.
